Briarwood Children's House is a full-service Montessori school caring for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years of age. Our preschool program is developmentally designed to meet the needs of the children and not designed by chronological age to push children along who are not developmentally ready or hold children back who are developmentally on their own fast track.
Briarwood Children's Daycare believes that social, racial, religious and cultural diversity in the community culture contributes greatly to the value of the preschool experience. Briarwood childcare admits children of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all rights, privleges, daycare programs and activities generally accorded or made available to the children at the preschool. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of the daycare's educational policies, admission policies, and other childcare programs.

Tuition is due the first day of your child’s attendance week. A zero balance is required each and every Friday. If tuition is not paid on the first day of the attendance, and automatic $40 late fee is charged to your account. An unpaid balance by close on Friday may indicate your child’s inability to return to -preschool the following week. Chronic late tuition payments will result in a week’s deposit required on Fridays. Briarwood daycare reserves the right to terminate a child’s enrollment in our childcare program for non-payment of tuition.
Financial Policies
Briarwood Preschool reserves the right to revise any fees and/or policies with prior posted notice
Debt on accounts no longer in the program are sent to our collections agent, fees are applied on top of the unpaid balance.
Your account will be charged a $40 service fee on all retuned checks. Returned checks will not be re-deposited. Cash payment is required for all NSF checks. Tuition in the amount of the NSF check will be re-charged to your account and must be rectified into a zero balance Friday of the same week. After (2) NSF checks, cash or money orders will be required. Cancelled checks will be returned after payment.
The activity fee is allocated for educational supplies and special activities for your child’s classroom. We strive to provide the highest quality learning environments. The activity fee is non-refundable.
Children must be picked up and departed from Briarwood Daycare by 5:00 PM. A late pick-up fee of $5 per child, per each five-minute period the child remains in Briarwood childcare after 5:00 PM will be charged to the family and paid to the staff member who stays to care for the children.
In case of withdrawal of a child from Briarwood preschool, a two -week written notice must be completed. If this notice is not given, an additional two weeks tuition is due to Briarwood daycare. Your contract pays your child’s teachers. It takes time to fill a vacancy.
